URL Getter

In certain situations, you may need a video or audio stream's URL. Unfortunately, most URLs are hidden behind Java or ActiveX scripts, making them impossible to acquire. URL Getter provides you with a solution for this issue. While monitoring your web browsers for video and audio streams, it will retrieve their URLs automatically. It uses WinPCap to identify potential URLs by monitoring network traffic. The software is capable of capturing HTTP, MMS and RTSP download links.

Downloading and installing URL Getter is a straightforward procedure, but you have to make sure that WinPCap 4.1.1 is installed on your computer. Fortunately, the driver is included in URL Getter's installation package, so you don't have to look for it on the Internet.

When you launch URL Getter, you can start retrieving URLs right away. You just need to click a Start button, located on a toolbar, and the application will start monitoring your traffic. When you play a video or audio stream on your web browser, the software will start capturing numerous links. Captured links are listed on the application's interface, along with different icons, depending on the URL's corresponding media.

You can set URL Getter to show or ignore media files with certain extensions, in the general settings menu. The software is capable of capturing thousands of packets. You will find URLs for images, JavaScript files, and more. To make them easier to find, media file URLs are listed on a separate tab. When you find the link you are looking for, you can select it and copy it to the clipboard.
